Love, silently

The fleeting light that falls upon your face,

Has shown me another side of you,

The unspoken sadness behind the surface,

Of the truth that I know, I couldn’t walk into,

Overlapping shadows make me smile,

As that’s when I feel the closest to you,

But deep inside, my heart cries for a while,

As it knows the story of me and you.
