Love Made Me Whole.

Love comes in various forms and shapes

Call it agape, eros, philia or storge

Some are haven, trauma, or whimsical escapes

Turning to everlasting bonds we forge.

If there is anything that made me

The woman that I am

Are the heartaches felt after twenty

Each memory framing a purposeful plan.

A sigh of relief, I breathe

As I rummage in my garden of memories

Pasts scattered on the ground like dried leaves

Becoming the manure of my life's magical tree.
