Saw you for the first time,

Walking down the street.

Got a bit confused,

Why my heart skipped a beat.

That was indeed

My life's best day.

Although I was just 14

Still hoped for you to stay.

Wanted to see you again,

And wished to have a talk.

But didn't find you there,

The place, where you had your walk.

Searching for you,

Was a huge task.

Knew none of your friends,

Whom I could just ask.

Can't seem to figure out what went wrong.

My heart won't accept the fact that you are truly gone.

A fear entered my mind,

That you left the place forever.

Cursed myself the whole night,

Was our meeting an error?

Saw you a month later,

Walking down the same street.

This time not confused,

For we were destined to meet.
