In the calm of twilight’s gentle glow,

I sense your presence, a warmth I know.

With every look, my heart takes flight,

Drawn to your gaze that pierces the night.

I long for an afterlife, a world unknown,

As I see no greater tragedy than loving you in one life alone.

In this fleeting existence, time slips away,

Like mist upon the water at break of day.

If this love would lead me to damnation, I’d gladly fall,

No joy in heaven could compare to your call.

In the shadow of sin, your name is my prayer;

I’d embrace every darkness just to have you near.

So let the heavens tremble and the angels weep,

Our love knows no bounds, nor a moment to repent.

In every heartbeat, I’m drawn to your fire,

With you, I find solace, my heart’s true desire.
