Lost Friendship

How can I move on from the only friend I ever had?

She felt like home,

When I was alone.

She hugged me,

When I fell down on my knee.

Her penchants were cringe,

But she didn’t hinge.

Her voice so dramatic,

Could patronize a grey attic.

Her smile so wide,

Could light the whole countryside.

Always being a rock,

To heal me at the dock.

Often hid her true attention seeking self,

To keep me from crying in the shelf.

I probably ill-treated her,

Didn’t be the friend she’d want to be with forever.

Even broke up a few times

But always made up with chimes

Except that one day

When I didn’t search for what to say in hay.

She always understood me,

So I didn’t be a dummy

But this one time I was wrong

She made me regret it all.

As the clock tick,

I became toxic.

I grieve in her name,

Would she care of this present maim?

I’m unaware of tomorrow,

Is it going to be filled with sorrow?

Days and nights are scary,

As I realise everyone is temporary.
