Loosing You

How do you miss running home to that person. Into arms that could ignite and reignite flames you know you can only call life. Their presence, enough to take away your any numbing pain. Like a bonfire in wintry nights, a beanie tucked warm when it snowed, like flowers, poetry books and full moons or a quiet life in the woods. You had it all, you could ever dream of. And suddenly a puff of smoke took it all away from you. I am sorry you had that person and lost them like that .

I am sorry you realised, they lied to you. Time doesn’t tick away any of them from you. Memories of them now might have weakened your bones to even stand. You might want to rip your heart out of your chest and put a whole lot of numbed mess in the gaping hole. I hope you still find hope, when you’re now burnt from flames, once ‘life’ you called. It’s okay if you can’t do anything about numbing or gaping holes. Because healing is a ghost that haunts greedy wounds like those .Yet I hope you find hope. Though they are in the stars now. And though we are a mess of ash and smoke from star flares now.
