Long Lost Love

We still walk the same path,

We used to run on these cool wet

Grass, only now we look

Away. From eight to four and

Four, oh, how we still keep score,

Neither the king nor the queen

Of the deck. I remember

The words coming out

Of the Prophet's mouth,

"It's the greatest bond,

I can't place my heart around it,

For it is destined to break".

You pulled me away to our

Childhood playground,

Tracing my face, you

Said, You were here

To stay...

Years and years

Passed, and no

Longer my Heathcliff,

Found my Darcy, and

You have your Elizabeth,

But love my dearest long lost

Love, no love's alike,

My love for you will never

Reduce and fade.
