Loneliness

Loneliness and being alone,

I wouldn’t get this mixed.

I wouldn’t have emptied this bottle,

If only life could be fixed.

So much to talk about,

Don’t know where I missed.

I just want to tell someone,

I don’t want to just exist.

For years I felt I was alone,

But never needed an assist.

But now the loneliness has crept in,

And I don’t want it to persist.
