Lockdown…

Grab a seat,

because I'm going to give you a stress beat.

It does look creepy,

but listen to it very carefully.

Showing that fake smile,

but we are really not doing fine.

No, really not.

Forget it! Today this world is all wrong.

No one is doing fine, some are at the verge to die,

even the worthy might feel muzzled in this world, wide.

Every single day in this world, a cyclone shows up,

it makes me glad that we're survivors not going up.

I know we are not crazy,

we just have a habit to grapple for something we feel is right.

We really love each other but sometimes it gets indelicate,

it gets so hard that sometimes we forget our etiquette.

This lockdown has established walls,

forgive them who've ruined many calls.

What's left to say about those who spray?

who admire them, they push them away.

A problem is always a fault of one,

but two people let the argument run.

Even the difficult problems have solutions,

no need to meet a doctor for stupid operations.

Shook by the miracles,

every face has wrinkles.

Seems like, this year nature has taken a resolution,

it demands more than just a human being's absolution.

Push yourself into the light,

even in the black you can easily find the colour white.

The financial crisis, unemployment,

perilous earthquakes, storms and drought.

The vile nature's treatment,

now look at the wrath people have brought.

No recognition, no function,

no marriages, no occasions.

There is a singular silence of mourning in every nook like something worse is yet to happen.

In search of employment people are idling around on roads,

so much danger around, no money to buy any coats.

Employed one’s work from home,

made them so indolent, can't even get up to comb.

Some dying out of hunger,

some taking stress and everyday getting weaker.

Problem is a word at everybody's lips,

think of a mom wishing to give her kids a kiss.

It actually is getting peaceful,

due to the curfews that are needful.

Now the animals have no fear,

to walk freely in the outside air.

New adjustment is difficult,

we'll get bored in a weekend.

Don't worry you'll figure out your talent soon,

you'll have a whole year to live in a room.

Let's once pray for the ones who have gone,

think about them and mourn.

Things will be back to their places,

we'll soon be back to the life full of races.
