Live Again

My heart ached,

For the perfectly etched face

Made its way through the bothering crowd.

Yes! I waved a smile

That told him that I forgot our stolen kisses

The lightning of love

When he drew circles on my skin.

Memories fade away.

The fancy rose petals are now crumbling down

Between the pages, staining them brown

I forgot where I had put the wrapper

Of the chocolates we kissed together.

When our lips met, I rejoiced

The fragrance of the first love

Is still alive?
