Little Things

Why do I know, of little things you do?

It shocks me, bothers me and hurts me too.

Little thing like you holding umbrella for me in rain,

And standing with me even when you’re in pain.

Remember that time, you called me cool?

Ofcourse you wouldn’t, because unlike me, you’re not a fool.

Yes, I cared about every little thing you ever did,

It’s not the truth I’m sad about, but it’s the way it hit!

Pretty bad it was, falling from cliff,

From meeting you to chatting to friendship, oh it was a long trip!

But now I’m thinking to take a break,

And have a “me-time”, I’m sure it would feel great.

But even while sitting and sipping the tea,

Only thing I wondered was, how would you be?

Are you still dragging yourself to sad thing?

Totally unaware of the consequences it brings.

I could, but I never let you know when I fall,

Just don’t want to waste your time and that’s all.

Are you over thinking all again?

Perhaps, letting your time in vain?

I’m sure you’re not eating right.

I know it, because of that one time we broke into a fight.

I remembered the time when you were sad and agitated,

Of how you trusted me, told me everything and how we almost dated!

With all these little things I remember about you,

Where do I keep them, in fact, what do I do?

I’m not sure of the reason my memory working so well,

Otherwise, it sucks, or maybe it’s because of the bruise I got from when I fell!
