Little Flower! That’s how my grandma called me,

Though I don’t know why.

Probably her love for flowers is how she expressed her love for me.

The reason I guess, over the years,

Fascination and love for flowers was instilled in me.

Well, guess what? Today is a very special day!

With so much excitement, I step out of the car.

I smell the fresh clean air, and feel the cool chilly weather.

I, am here! The beautiful flower paradise – Kuekenhof Garden.

My eyes feast on the beauty of this place, its surreal!

I touch, I feel, I smell! This beautiful array of exotic flowers.

Daffodils and Cherry Blossoms, and the flower of my dreams,

The beautiful and enchanting Tulips!

I close my eyes, and without a care of who was there,

I tiptoed, twirled and danced.

I hugged the entire garden in my heart,

Just like grandma hugged her Little Flower in her arms.

Thank you, grandma, for your wonderful love.
