Listen Carefully

Can you listen?

Sweet chirping of birds

Signalling the dawning light,

Reminiscent of new-born’s sight

With his cry so mild

Can you listen?

Hustle and bustle of the big cities

and town ditty

Both involve something pity,

Those faces trying to sell

Those eyes craving for attention

it is not easy, we all know

But aren't we busy? We all show

Can you listen?

The voice of a girl, becoming a woman

dreaming like a freeman

searching for something in her heart,

trying to forget her past.

Sad voice of broken heart,

realising marriage is not her Art

Now that she is doubling and adjusting everything

Finding her new sense of nothing

Can you listen?

The unsteady youth

lighting with their own truth,

in their own imaginary booth.

Full of doubts, they're leading themselves somewhere

though keeping everything silent,

calling it their unique talent.

As it is always better not to "Talk"

unless it is related to heart.

C'mon they don't want to sound like a fool

because you know, sharing is so uncool.

Listen this one carefully! We can save the lost soul,

Yes! we can do much more than scroll.

Can you listen?

The reality of life,

away from your illusions

turning your present into confusion.

The dramatic sound of what they call "failure"

which is always louder.

get ready after this one, your life is turning

because you're still learning.

Can you listen?

Well, I'm not sure about this one

as this may be the last one with those wrinkled face and hand,

a story about to end.

More than listen, you need to understand

as they're losing their ship on a strand

They're especial and crucial.

If we listen, we can learn

Choose to listen them,

as they truly are the real gem.

Can you listen?

The whisper of deceased

telling the story of their release

which is quite long indeed.

It does not have any voice,

still someone is speaking calmly to you in a voice

You know,

Their farewell will be short, still don't forget to talk

As they listen, so are you.
