The faraway star

Once there was a wonderful star,

Always it seemed to be so far.

It used to help children sleep,

But when dawn came away it would creep.

At night people said, come back glowing star.

The boy named Joe

Once there was a boy named Joe

Who lived a long, long time ago

Everyone said he ate like a hog

And slept a lot like a big fat log

And so his tummy continued to grow!

The man from Peru

There was a man who wished to go to Peru

So he took a ship and he took a crew

Midway the ship broke down

But hardly did he frown

Instead he caught the next boat to Peru

Pat’s cat

A young lady named Pat

Owned a fluffy white cat

The cat ate mice

Which weren’t very nice

So the cat decided to chase a rat
