Lifeless, Dead

Some bleed in real life,

We bleed on paper.

Not strong enough for self harm,

But harm many people.

Clouds of thoughtlessness,

Followed by thunders of loneliness

Longing for a soul to understand ‘em

Walking alone in raining darkness.

I see hope in all, all around me

Seems to be missing inside me.

Got tons to do,

No will to do so.

It has been going on for a while now

It hides and reappears

It is cruel, crude and rude.

Drowning in it, dangerous.

I become dizzy, wanting it to end.

It does not end.

Flying high up in the sky

Are some, while some lie

Lifeless, dead.

Chasing one another

Growling like hungry wolves

They end up with bones

Making themselves suffer.

Under the same sky,

Never on same land.

You are higher than I am,

He will be higher than you,

The Holy Spirit is higher than all.

Yet you make up your rank,

Denying those who stand above.

Happiness is a mirage,

A sweet, unreachable oblivious truth.
