Life's Crossroads

Standing and pondering on the crossroads,

My heart's skipping beats, anxiety loads!

Ifs and buts crowd my mind,

For moments my heart and mind go blind!

Reasoning and consequences flood my thoughts,

Which path to choose, confusion fraughts!

Your mind speaks practical, your heart speaks love,

To go a long way, chose wisely, though the path may be rough!

With ups and downs, tonnes of hurdles you cross,

Belief in yourself will get you across!

Nothing comes easy, remember always,

The joy of getting stronger, you will see each day!

Enjoy the journey, come what may,

It's all about the learning curve, rest all will find its way!

You tried your best, your conscience is clear,

Whatever happens, it's a phase mere!
