Liefkoos

met Koos in die Kombuis,

tone trap liggies

op die toonleer

Lisa se klavier

staan okerbruin

in die portaal

met splinter en klawer

wat my dwars in die krop steek

Is dit my verbeelding wat met my weghol...

amper soos my gedagtes

daardie aand

met lig en kar

op 'n vreemde pad

in Oranjestraat

In die kombuis

sou jy my liefkoos

met jou melodie,

so sag

soos jou menthol lippe;

maar deesdae hou die donker uur

my net so bietjie langer in sy kloue

as ek dink aan ons kombuis-liefde

wat nou saam met die wind verdwyn

oor 'Tafelberg se hange'
