Letter to Two

Dear Doe’s,

I’m sorry this happened outside of your control,

Whatever you felt was enough to be known,

Those slimy hands that dared to cross your being,

Shall be the ones that ultimately receive this ending.

Terrible beings with claws to paw at your clothes,

Tongues of a serpent that betrayed all your oaths,

Manipulators with fangs to spew out honeyed dew,

Dripping with maliciousness that can be made into a brew.

They dug out your purity and left you feeling dirty,

Used and hollowed, hopeless and nasty,

You fantasise of mauling, blending them into bits,

Silently wishing them an ending of pure blitz.

The world does not blame you for situations out of reach,

But we hope for you to step out so we can subdue each,

Vomit out your feelings like pouring tea into a cup,

Your peace will reign over like a sunset on a beach.

You will find a plushie to cuddle with when nightmares strike,

You will discover a microphone to speak out what you like,

You will reach up to the heavens and take what is rightfully yours,

You will achieve the greatest moments of your life.

With this serenade, I write this out to you,

You are not alone; this I can assure you.

Dear aggressors,

Do you think we've forgotten you?

The crimes committed, the souls you have ruined, all the pains you caused too?

The charges, the lies, the accusations you tried to scatter,

But nothing can be erased, the wounds only grow deeper and deeper.

Maybe it was the way they talked, they walked, that sparked your twisted mind?

"They deserved it!."

Maybe it was the fabrics they wore, the clothes they adorned, that made you cross the line?

"Their fault!."

Maybe it was their innocence, their trust, that you thought you could refine?

"Stop!."

Who you are is defined by the choice you make,

An apathetic master manipulator, second to none,

Were your words true when you swore up above?

Or was your faith just another script, disguised as love?

Their unrelenting pain carries on regardless of time,

Swallowing, consuming, everything of all their mind,

Fortune says the lucky will plow a road to sublime,

But most of them never even made it to their prime.

Denial is a river in Egypt, but how far does it go?

There is not much to say; you all are monsters until the end.

The best day will be the moment you all decay.
