Lethargy

The ringing alarm piercing through my ears

Eyes open all night, filled with tears

Having my morning coffee, getting myself ready

The day is going to be rough and shady

Walking down the stairs, walking across the road

My heavy bag filled with questionable load

Sharing an auto to reach the station

Zoning out till I reach my location

Waiting for the next train cause I missed the last one

Music in my ears preparing me to run

The train is heavily packed

Getting a seat seems impossible

The noise is too loud

The heat is terrible

The aunty standing behind me, peeks at my phone

Judging my character, without thinking of her own

My daily life is more of a struggle

Filled with hustle and bustle

But everyday I go on pushing through and surviving

I'm hopes that one day it'll be worth it
