Let Me Live

Yes I’m gay,

Not in a foolish way.

I sway,

Yet, I pray.

People told me to confess

My sins to a priest.

Society is too judgmental,

Especially those on the pedestal.

I’m too human,

Why treat me like a clown?

I have a role to play,

So don’t cast me away.

Are you fascist?

Or a racist?

I am creative,

In my own perspective.

Life is beautiful,

So let me live to the full.
