Lemon Meringue Pie

With a lemon and a lime,

Would you grant me your hand?

If I let you go,

Would you love me like a fairytale?

If I offer you purpled skin,

Would you kiss me?

If I let myself go,

Would you finally see me?

If I have nothing left,

No hands to make,

No beauty to keep you,

Would you still love me darling?

If I stop giving myself to you,

Would you feel regret?

Or would you knowingly smirk,

Because you know you’re all I have?
