Lemniscate

Chasing perfection is as good as chasing infinity,

It is a curved ball which has no corners,

It is like a delinquent looking for honour,

It is like the poor looking for the

thug who stole his million dollars.

The ones who achieved it did not come back to tell the story,

the ones who claim they got it could not be further away,

the ones who believe it exists live in a platonic cliche,

the smart ones who tell us its fake but chase it anyway,

are the ones in a real grave.

Knowledge is a beautiful curse,

knowing but ignoring is called a sin,

staying unknown would be a painful win.

What is the use of being aware but still playing the fool,

If I know chasing perfection is as good as chasing infinity

why do I let it have the rule?
