Left Over Love

It was on the table

Raffle of hackneyed memories

Unwind since long...

Few signs of forgotten love

Peeping from the bouquet,

Wither buds stopped blooming

Barring the touch of caress

Lying deserted,

Leftover love

Imprisoned inside dozens of envelopes,

Decorated with red roses

Strawberries imprinted

Covered with symbols of love

Signed by red lips,

Those hearts...

Once panted rapidly for each other

Every day and night,

Void filled heart breathing quietly with false emotions

Uttered promises of sailing life together

Shattered dreams

All resting on the table....now....weeping!
