Lay Some

Lay some whispers on my pillows, I promise

Not to rub them off, I’ll make them divine

From the depths of night to the first rays of sunshine.

Lay some kisses on my palms, I promise

To grace them always, I’ll do it dear

Till the end of silence to the rise of laughter.

Lay some tolerance in my eyes, I vow

To make them glow, will unlit the whole city

Until you become a goddamn reality.

Lay some wisdom upon me, I promise you

To span it across, every mosque temple and church

even if death stands me before, will be on march
