Lady Cassandra

Lady Cassandra is leaving this hour,

Turn, Turn, Turn again,

Holding a fragrance that pulls every flower,

Turn, Turn, To the rain and hail.

She walks so gentle like the wind in a flute,

Turn, Turn, Turn again,

It doesn't matter if you’re blind or a mute

Turn, Turn, To the rain and hail.

I asked her to stay, she smiled, and she said -

“Turn, Turn, Turn away,

I’ve got a mountain to mend and seasons ahead,

Turn, Turn, To your own way.”

I stood and persisted with tears in my eyes,

“Turn, Turn, Turn my way!”

But she passed away like those clouds, likewise

I returned to my humble disarray.
