Kindness To All

Once, an evil wizard,

Turned a king into a lizard

So ugly and vile,

You could smell him from a mile!

An announcement was made by the royal advisor,

That whoever would journey to the Dark Geyser

And restore back the king by destroying the evil wizard’s wand,

Would get an amount of gold bigger than twenty times the largest pond!

But no one cared,

And no one dared,

For the king was cruel and unjust,

And they would rather rescue a layer of rust!

But, one voice rose above the silence of the rest,

“I will embark on this dangerous quest!”

‘Twas Patrick, the cobbler’s son!

All were more confused than at a bad pun!

“Why sir? Do you rescue that cruel tyrant?”

“For compassion, to this Earth we were sent

So, whether the king is kind or colder than a nail,

Justice will prevail!”

So, Patrick the Brave,

Embarked on a quest that might send him to his grave,

Through the monster-infested valleys of Devil’s Runs,

And up the snowy cliffs of Revan’s Mountains!

Finally, he reached his destination,

And fought the wizard with much aggression,

But, after Day Fifteen,

The Wizard’s Wand was never seen!

Returned victorious Patrick did,

And of the king’s crude skin he rid

And of this the king was extremely grateful,

And never again was he spiteful!

So, the message is clear:

Whether you wish to love one or grind him between a gear,

Such pain and torture shouldn’t persevere,

Be wary of such statements! For God’s Test of Humanity is always near!
