Kafan Bi

‘Kafan be my wedding shroud

Kafan be my wedding shroud,

Then, who is the man of my dreams?

‘Coz I’ll sleep when I’m dead,

And when I sleep then I’ll dream,

And the man who holds dreams,

is the man whilst I sleep..

Oh how the wish of a white gown walking down,

now death be the crown..

Malakal Mawth by the door he is waiting,

Malakal Mawt and his kiss, then bliss,

Finally free from this abyss..

Malakal Mawth, rest assured,

now here is a man who will fulfill what he avowed,

Bed of sand, tombstone my pillow,

When my wedding be my funeral,

In this sleepy hollow,

And everyone’s invited,

‘coz that’s just how life is.’
