Just Now

It’s just how

Lush green leaves on brown branches turn yellow

Just like how

Dreams that can make your bed can also soak your pillow

It’s just how

Skies and oceans are never empty yet make us feel incomplete

Just like how

Racing in circles worries us more about what’s worn on the feet

It’s just how

We hold on to emotions but fear them turning us inhuman

Just like how

The creator knew the secret so let the creation take its spun

It’s just how

All we have is all ours to call our own but it’s all for just now

Just like how

We could keep it or break it but we still live life like a vow

It’s just now . . .
