Just For Now

little do you know.

how i blocked the commotion, thus,

a perfectly normal day it was.

where no one really cared how i was.

little do you know.

how i saw you for the first time.

and i didn't really show up.

guess i was cynical, to pick up.

a conversation...

it started off with a "hi".

little do you know.

how i got a little interested.

i wanted to talk and clear out the desiccated.

because i guess i didn't know. i guess i was inhibited.

little do you know.

how you've been on my mind more than usual.

now we are connected more than usual.

now i feel like i know you.

little do you know.

how i feel like i remember.

how you look at me every time.

every time when we perhaps just smile at each other.

little do you know.

how i recall the tee you wore.

i lucidly remember the look you had.

when the times were pretty sore.

little do you know.

how i hush myself to sleep each night.

when i fear losing you to the world.

and when i crave to call shotgun into yours.

this crowd around us. this world is a malicious play. full of faces who are bedazzled

by what you are... and i am sure they want you.

little do you know.

things get dark.

every time when. i see them preying upon,

the things i waited for the most.

the pack of blessings... that you are a part of.

little do you know.

how i feel like. how i know the future could be.

where you'd be the one i'd look for,

but lost in the remnants of time, we'd be.

little do you know.

how i feel like. how i know the future could be.

where you'd be the one i'd look for,

i hope you wouldn't mind sitting here with me.

just for now. will you?
