Judas

I hate the beach

I hate the seas

I hate the skies

I hate all that isn't mine

Cease the tides and the guilt.

Guilt that makes the sinner a saint

The rest of us left to hang

With your strings, red as blood

Blood that taints your hands,

Your hands that bruised my neck

Purple like nobility

Purple like Judas

I promise I'll drown this time.
