Journey Through Pages

New books have that smell

which gives you peace of mind,

they calm your senses

and put you in a bind.

You start the first chapter

and find it boring,

but continue still

soon you are soaring.

The plot begins to form

your interest grows,

at this point u feel as if

time froze.

The mystery is growing

so is your curiosity,

if something happens to a loved character

you are filled with pity

Its unravelled

yes the plot,

you may have not predicted it right

but it was worth a shot.

Ah, the happy ending

not always though,

sometimes the story results in heartbreak

the last goodbye or a new hello.
