Journey 22

By Rishika Devesh Gupta

Hey Garima didi!

How are you doing now?

I know I didn't write you a poem for 22nd bash!

Here's a kind of song and letter for you

Read it carefully, it might make you look cute!

So, remember how we were talking...

About you leaving for your Masters degree abroad!

I told you, I will capture your room, your Mac and everything then!

But guess what will I miss the most?

Your taunting me about my annoying habits!

Don't worry I have a solution for that,

You might feel responsible for me

Now that you are 22,

But, in case you want to feel young and childish again,

Just remember my silly errors and laugh at them...

I know you'll miss me and I will remember you too...

But, don't get all emotional, it's not that long...

I will be there with you in no time next year!
