JOURNEY

By Kalopsia Wiz

The day my feet turn cold

My breathing comes to a standstill,

The day my eyes close

The day my body becomes motionless and numb

The day my life comes to a pause,

I’ll be missed.

And that’s when you won’t be able to do anything, that’ll be the day you won’t be able to help.

The day when you might still lend your hand, and you’ll realize it’s now a waste.

That moment of my stillness will be a reality and not just a nightmare,. It’ll be something you can’t stop.

A reality prayer can’t change. Somewhere I’ll be gone from where I can’t return.

An end of my life.

And a start to another journey.
