Living off through terror

And terrorism

Where killing others is the way

To heaven

Innocent cries

And the cacophony of bombs

Death and destruction

Hiding in plain sight

Always scheming and planning

Claiming to be God’s servants

Chanting His Name

Always in war with others

Claiming to fight injustice

Brainwashed by bigots

Fighting hate with hate

Committed by few

Consequences faced by whole

Not knowing

It’s an internal war

With oneself

To conquer your demons

To become better

For yourself

And for others

Sharing love and likeness

For a better place

Knowing that Jannah

Awaits us on the other side

Just by living in peace and love

With oneself and others
