It Was About You

It was about finding a new yourself with each journey you embark on.

It was about gaining wisdom, and about letting knowledge transform.

It was about the curiosity in your eyes, and the awe in your smile,

It was about the discovery of little wonders, and the joy hidden inside.

It was about the thirst and hunger as you take in all that is to offer,

It was about a vision’s depth, for you to be more than you ever dreamt.

It was about the smiles of success through the sweat of hardships,

It was about the scars of obstacles and even the wonder of miracles.

It was to be brave, and inhale every tear that waters those dreamy eyes,

To fire your soul and grasp your goal, as with every tear, you grow a bit wise.

For it was in all the journey that your life was hidden,

and neither the start nor the end can have it ridden.

And it was about walking hand in hand with all who join in,

But remember your strength always, even if you are alone and drowning.

For all along it was always about you!
