It's Okay'

It’s okay to look up,

let your tears drip

down your pastel cheeks.

Let your spasm heal

under the breeze of summer,

golden and vivid.

However the world says otherwise,

there is still a placid plain,

where your soul can rest.

It’s okay to let go of your grudges, and

live candidly, just like

a morning butterfly.

It’s okay to borrow that hand

so familiar, you won’t shy away

and patch up your rusty wound.

It’s okay,

to surf amidst your verdant dreams,

and blink past those lines

to read between.

Let your olive heart

Beat again in ripples of love,

float in warmth and bliss.

It’s okay to wait

until a spring comes again

to kiss your dreams.
