It's Bloody Downstairs...

A knock on my door

And a beep on my phone

That voice and the vibe

Guzzled my beer down the throat

Rushed to the door

And none at the peephole

Sunk into my cozy couch

Staggered back again to the kitchen

Wondered about that knock

and wondering still

That feeble screeching voice

Synced both being skeptical

the knock and the beep

Like both hand in hand

Bedroom to restroom

Felt like an errand

Eerie silence and in my solitude

Clock says Half past eleven

But then Have clues none

Midnight and then nightmares

Starving and haunted within

Reached out to my phone

The text read blank

Timorous n disquieted

It all made sense

Made way downstairs tiptoed

That screech n feeble voice

Clear enough through peephole

His love, tied to the ceiling

could hint a murder

I sighed and he sensed

Rushed upstairs, in no time latched

And now its quarter to one

But me and a clue to None
