Irony

Loyalty towards one induces

Disloyalty towards other

Ousting a thought while

accepting another

To display fury, you must

Experience fear and shudder

For pulling

You must push

For exhaling

You must inhale

And for dying

You must live

To delineate lines on your palm

You might erase someone else’s

To fulfil your ambitions

You might ruin someone else’s

To find your ecstasy

You might become someone’s sorrow

No matter how hard you try

You cannot abscond this irony

How tediously you display a mask

To please their desires is quite a task

Betrayal of your true identity

Nonetheless fabricating reality

It is in all respects an irony itself

How humans mould faces for them self

It is not your defects you are hiding

But restricting your spontaneity

Both you and them have sinned

For not allowing you to dispose of

Your fake ones and dress up with your

idiosyncrasies as your jewels and your ethics

As your crown.
