Inside Of A Moment

If I could be a colour

I’d be black

So I could fade away into nothingness

Hide in plain sight

Disappear

Till there was nothing left to see

Nothing left to feel

I’d sink

into the stillness between heartbeats

the silence between seconds

Where every moment

is the pacific pause following

The blindingly bright

Incandescent burst of white

As it clandestinely cloaks ‘all odds’

Until

The odds prevail

Hollow hope

Lifts into opaque oblivion

A harmonic haven

Of inexistence.
