Insecurities

These insecurities are my own

These insecurities make me

Vulnerable, scared, victimized

Defenseless, despondent, anxious

And every other string of alphabets that resonates despair

But these insecurities are my own

These insecurities make me

Free to discover, experiment

Evolve and prosper

And every other string of alphabets that resonates hope

These insecurities make me me

These insecurities make me human

So before you try to enlighten me

With my pre-aware insecurities

Look within yourself first

Learn to love yourself first

Because your bashing of mine

Only highlight your own
