Nervously I wait

For the day we get to meet.

I sit around and think

Of how I’d get to greet you.

My hands get awful shaky

And then they start to sweat,

There’s part of me in love with you

And I haven’t met you yet.

Infatuated romance

a regular school boy

Sneakily I think you in the off chance

that my thoughts will bring you joy.

I don’t know how to tell you,

You’re always on my mind.

I find the more I think of you

The more color I find

This autumn I saw all the oranges and reds and purple hues

Under the yellow sunshine,

for the first time.

I practice every night,

For when you are to come

I put my right hand on my chest, the left over the right

I’m getting quite good too

Lately I fall asleep without too much ado

I fall asleep in peace, knowing you’ll always be a piece of me and feel a bit less blue

I know you’re never late,

Don’t rush there is no hurry

Our date will be made sweeter by the wait

And I’ve so many stories to create before then love, don’t worry.
