Indecisive

I have always been so indecisive

Dwelling on a simple question became hypnotizing

Wandering on things like going back home or going for a walk

But when I stop to wonder it doesn't stops the clock

Cause time doesn't stops walking

Time doesn’t wait it forever slips

Lost in thoughts as the coffee goes cold I'm losing my sips

Heartbeats might change tempos but the needle sticks

To the perpetual unwavering ticks

So to save some time I started using the old trick

Throw a coin in the air and let it flip

As it gravitates I would open my hand

Always try to catch it but let's call it a land

Not a wise way to plan my plans

This is the story of a confused man

Got the coin back now it will always show just one face

Everyone knows about the toss of the head and the tails

But then when it shows the outcome I did not wish for in my heart

I would flip again and call it another start

But sometimes it got to the point of counting best of three's

And further it would go till fives in the name of schemes

Like when I would flip between dieting and ice creams

It was getting ridiculous and was plain to see

Going to every place with a coin in the pocket of my jeans

Till this unusual thing happened to me

Made me decide my decision it seems

I threw the coin one last time and caught it between my fingers

With no face to see I knew that I shouldn't linger

No longer indecisive now tall I stand

Because regardless of however the coin may be it is always in my own hand
