Incomplete

Why are incomplete things so beautiful.

The sky when the sun is about to set

but has not set yet

A flickering lamp on a lonely street

Not fully illuminating the street, but not leaving it in darkness either.

A half written

beautiful musical composition

A time between autumn and spring

when the tree is a beautiful combination

of falling dead leaves

and new ones sprouting on its bare branches

May be we keep things incomplete

to make sure they never really end

Just like this poem.
