In Your Beautiful Country

It'll be sunset when I go back

Home to gather no pack

It'll be sunrise when I go by

That lane in the portrait

My horse it could be resting a while

And without it I'd be leading

There'll be trees on both the sides

Of the road that I'd be walking

I would need no hat to look up

When the pines would shade me

Neither me nor would you find out

Where I left my land and entered yours

But I'll know when the weather's a little cold

Glad it's the same flower that grows

It'd be sunset when you'd think of me

As your next work piece

It'd be sunrise when you had finished

Painting me making a living

In your beautiful country
