In The Deep

In the deep where nothing seems to be seen,

In the dark where everything seems to have been,

In the dim where something seems to be keen,

In the dare where breathing seems to be taken,

In the ditch where sleuthing seems to be woven,

In the diverse where wreathing seems to be a maven,

In the drama where soothing seems to be cozen,

In the delight where writhing seems to be given,

In the drizzle where anything seems to have shaken,

In the different where swathing seems to be not even,

In the dungeon where hope-thing seems to be frozen,

The Daylight that shimmers becomes the oxygen.
