In The Chaos

In the chaos, can I find serenity?

When we all know it’s a game of destiny,

Then, shan’t we shed tears when everything seems falling.

The two lovely houses no more hear the spring day songs!

The shopkeeper constantly builds his hope to live,

He has a big family to feed.

The old couple can’t see their only son.

Now, every soul is bound.

Bound to accept the truth of death and loss.

Can the stories of pain and grief ever end?

The school, a place of joy,

Has not heard the children’s noise.

Those quarrelling cute voices, the nerdy answers, the teacher’s anger!

In the chaos, the doctor mummy still does her duty,

The policemen put his country and people first.

The journalist goes on reporting for the country,

Everyone has ends to meet.

While thousands lose their loved ones every now and then,

Can I place country’s sorrow over personal dejection?

If they could, So, me and all!

Maybe I appear strong or Maybe weak,

I don’t know if I could take this affliction of accepting reality.

But I must master the art of living.

Now, life is not just about living but also knowing death.

To thrive in, I should know I have loving people by my side,

I have promises to accomplish.

While few candles are off, some candles still burn,

Burn to emit light and maybe light others.

Someday, this light will roll out darkness and misery.

In the chaos, I believe I will find the peace.

When many struggling to draw a niche,

And some serving patients while families at risk,

My pity is nowhere o’er their unforgiving loss!

So, I build my heart and soul stronger than before.

If I accept truth and have the potential to build,

If I learn to not to breathe a word of loss,

If I let go the past as a night mare or a fairytale,

If I force my nerve to start anew amid all new rubbles,

Then I may conquer all my inhibitions and move further.
