Impermanence

A circus of a few years,

And this mortal body, will be all ashes.

Yet, we refuse to grow up.

A circus of a few years,

And this high-rise building, will be in dust.

Yet, we refuse to appreciate uniqueness of everything.

A circus of a few years,

And this sea, will consume the shore’s sand.

Yet, we refuse to acknowledge this impermanence.

A circus of a few years,

And this new technology, will go obsolete.

Yet, we refuse to embrace change.
