ಎಲುಬಿನ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಮಾಮ್

ತಕ್ಕಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಳೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು

ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಣಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ ಇಮಾಮ್

ರಾಣಿಯದ್ದೋ ರಾಜನದ್ದೋ ಪೂಜಾರಿಯದ್ದೋ

ಪಾದ್ರಿಯದ್ದೋ ಮುಲ್ಲಾನದ್ದೋ

ಗೇಟ್ ಕೀಪರಿನದ್ದೋ

ಸತ್ತ ಕಳೇಬರದ ಎಲುಬು ಕದ್ದು

ಗುಲ್ ಮೊಹರಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ

ಅಂಗಡಿ ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಸೋರುವ

ಬಲೂಚಿಗಳೋ ಗಾಂಜಾ ಗಿರಾಕಿಗಳೋ

ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿ ಬಿಳಿ ಬುರುಡೆಗಳೋ

ರಷ್ಯನ್ ರಜಾಯಿಗಳೋ ಉಕ್ರೇನಿನ

ವರ್ಧಮಾನರೋ

ಯಾರದಾದರೇನು?

ಹೂತ ಶವಗಳ ಎಲುಬಿನ ರುಚಿ

ಬಚ್ಚಲು ಬಾಚುವ ನಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ

ರುಚಿ ಹತ್ತಿದ ಮೇಲೆ

ಅವನ್ಯಾರೋ ಹರಪ್ಪನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ

ಮೀಸೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದವನಂತೆ

ಅವಳ್ಯಾರೋ ಮೊಹೆಂಜೋದಾರದ ಸ್ನಾನಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ

ಮೀಯ್ದು ಶೃಂಗಾರಗೊಂಡವಳಂತೆ

ಇನ್ನು ಅವರು

ಈಜಿಟ್ಟಿನ ರಾಣಿಯ ಶಯನಕೋಣೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕು

ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಬರೆದವರಂತೆ

ಇವರು

ರೋಮ್ ಹೊತ್ತಿ ಉರಿಯುವಾಗ ದೊರೆಯ

ಆಸ್ಥಾನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಚಾಮರ ಬೀಸಿದವರಂತೆ

ಯಾರದಾದರೇನು ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲಿ ಕೂತ ಇಮಾಮಿನ

ತಕ್ಕಡಿ ತೂಗಿದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದೇ ಬೆಲೆ

ಪ್ಯಾರೀಸಿನ ಉದ್ಧ ಗೋಪುರದ ಮೇಲೆ

ಅಥೆನ್ಸಿನ ಮುದಿ ಪಾರಿವಾಳವೊಂದು

ಅಪಶಕುನ ನುಡಿದಿದೆ

ಮುಂದೊಂದು ಮಹಾಯುದ್ಧದಲಿ

ಅರೇಬಿಯನ್ ದೊರೆಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ

ಚೇಳು ತಿನ್ನುವ ರಾಜನ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಆಕ್ರಮಣವಾಗಿ

ಬಿದ್ದ ಮೂಳೆಯ ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆ ಆಯುವ

ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಚಿಂದಿ ಆಯುವ ಹುಡುಗ

ಇಮಾಮಿನ ಅಂಗಡಿಯಲಿ ಮೂಳೆಗಳ ಚೌಕಾಸಿಗೆ

ನಿಂತಾಗ

ನವಿಲುಗಳು ಕಾಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತವೆ

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮೂಳೆ ಯಾವ ಜಾತಿಯದ್ದೋ

ಯಾವುದು ಕಪ್ಪೋ ಯಾವುದು ಬಿಳಿಯೋ

ಯಾವುದು ಬಲಿಷ್ಟವೋ ಯಾವುದು ಬಲಹೀನವೋ

ಯಾವುದು ಅಂಗಿನ ಅರಮನೆಯದ್ದೋ

ಯಾವುದು ವಿಂಗಡದ ಗುಡಿಸಲದ್ದೋ

ಒಂದೇ ತೂಕ ಒಂದೇ ಬೆಲೆ

ತೂಗುವ ತಕ್ಕಡಿಯ ಬೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಮೇಲೆ

ನಾಳೆ ಕೆರೆಬಿಯನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೋರಾಡಬಹುದು

ತಾಲಿಬಾನಿನವನೊಬ್ಬ ತಲೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೇಳಬಹುದು

ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮದ ಕುರುಹಿದೆಯೆಂದು

ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಪರ್ದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು

ಎಲುಬಿನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು

ಬ್ರಿಟನ್ನಿನ ರಾಣಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳ ಚಿತೆಯೊಳಗಿನ

ಎಲುಬು ಕದ್ದವನೊಬ್ಬ ಬೆಲೆ ಬಾಳುವ ಬಾಚಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ

ತನ್ನ ಕಟಿಂಗ್ ಶಾಪಿನಲಿ

ಬಾಡಿಗೆಗೆ ತಲೆಬಾಚುವನಂತೆ

ಸಾಲುಗಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಬಿಳಿ ಚರ್ಮದ ಕುಬೇರರು

ಅವರು

ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರನೋ

ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲಿನ ಆಟಗಾರನೋ ರಗ್ಬಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ನೋ

ವೈಟ್ ಹೌಸಿನ ದೊರೆಯೋ ಸೆನೆಟಿನ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಞಿಯೋ

ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಈಗ ಎಲುಬಿನಂಗಡಿಯ

ಸರಕುಗಳೇ

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ

ಇವು ಕರಿಯರದ್ದೋ ಬಿಳಿಯರದ್ದೋ

ರಕ್ತ ಮೆಲ್ಲುವವರದ್ದೋ

ಭೀಭತ್ಸ ಕುಡಿಯವವರದ್ದೋ

ಬೂಟು ಕಾಲಿನವರದ್ದೋ ಬಾಟಾ ಚಪ್ಪಲಿಯವರದ್ದೋ

ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ

ಬಿಕರಿಗಿಟ್ಟ ಎಲುಬಿಗೆ ನಾಯಿಗಳು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ

ಕೂರುವುದು ಹೊಸದೇನಲ್ಲ

ಮೂಳೆ ಮಾರುವುದನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ

ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಮೈಕಿನಲಿ ಕೂಗುವಾಗ

ಬಿಕರಿಗಿಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂಳೆಗಳನು ಸುಪರ್ದಿಗೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು

ಕೆಂಪಂಗಿಯ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳು ಪರೇಡ್ ನಡೆಸುವಾಗ

ಚಾಂಗ್ ಪೂ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ದೊರೆಯ ಸೈನ್ಯ

ಕೆಂಪು ಬಾವುಟ ಹಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಪಿರಂಗಿ ಸದ್ದಾಗಿಸುವಾಗ

ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲಿ ಮೂಳೆಗಳ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿಸಿ

ಕೀಲಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಉಡದಾರದಲ್ಲಿ

ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಇಮಾಮ್
