If I were to control how'd I feel about you I wouldn't have fallen in the first place, you see.

I would have just looked into your eyes and would have tried hard not to see my universe in it.

My hands would have touched yours and I'd have had let go of them in an instant without having the thought of them being glued up together like a bird's nest holding bits and pieces to form something so beautiful called home.

I would have heard your words and wouldn't have mistaken them to be my favourite song etched in my heart forever.

I would have tried not playing it in my mind on repeat.

I would have given up the thought of seeking home in a person.

I would have sticked to the bricks and cements had I not felt more secure in walls of your arms than theirs.

I would have stopped myself to fall for you had I not felt risen up in the process of falling for you.
