If I told you that I love you

Would you run away

Would you laugh at me,

Or would you hold my hand and

Tell me that you’d stay

If I told you that I love you

Would that change your mind

Would it feel like crossing the line,

Or would you be confused

And say you still need some time

If I told you that I love you

Would you rather push me away

Would you still look at me the same way,

Or would you walk past me

And pretend like we’re nothing but strangers again

If the world comes crashing

And if I told you that I still love you

Would you leave me in pieces

Or would you embrace me in you arms

And tell me ‘Come what may, let’s promise to hold on and forever stay!’
